Country Singer Randy Travis Arrested for DWI

He was involved in a single car crash in Texas.

Country legend Randy Travis was charged with DWI and with "retaliation" because he verbally threatened a cop during the arrest states TMZ. It happened last night just before midnight in Texas. Police reported that the country star had minor cuts and bruises.

He was charged with DWI and retaliation and obstruction which is a felony. Travis's car was the only vehicle in the crash. He remains in custody. This is not the first run in with the law for Travis he was arrested back in February for public intoxication for allegedly boozing in front of a Baptist church says TMZ. Police also stated that Travis had just gotten into fight with girlfriend. We will keep you up to date as new developments occur.
