Ann Curry announced to leave the Today Show today on air. Watch her emotional good-bye on the video segment of the Today Show below.

Ann Curry co-hosted the NBC Today Show for only one year. Curry is actually staying at NBC. She got a multi-year contract to lead a team of seven to cover big stories for NBC.

The Today show got beaten by ABC's Good Morning America in terms of ratings in April. NBC was on top for an amazing 16 years. NBC needs to find a great new co-host for Matt Lauer to take back the lead in America's morning shows.
