Matt Reeves, Planet of the Apes Filmmaker, Will Direct Batman Movie

People will soon see Matt Reeves new creation after planet of the apes. Reeves is now going to direct a new movie named Batman. A well know director of Hollywood movies made hit creations, like Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes. The director is considering a new offer for The Batman that previously had Ben Affleck as a director. Ben was supposed to direct the movie, but left the project last week after hand-wringing.

Ben Affleck wanted to justify with acting so took the decision of hiring another director. Affleck said that the role needs passion and focus for making the best movie, but he does not have time to do two jobs at a time. So, Affleck decided to have partner to direct such massive production.

He also did Dawn of Justice and will also act in Justice League in autumn. Ben Affleck and his team started hunting for a new director and found Reeves the best option. The studio conducted a meeting with Reeves on Friday as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The movie will also have two more directors including
Ridley Scott, and Fede Alvarez who was the director of the Don’t Breathe.

Affleck is also the co-author of the script with DC Films co-head Geoff Johns. According to THR, film sources also reported that the film script will go through several changes.

Reeves also developed Felicity, a TV’s project with Abrams before his 2008’s Clover field. He also got involved in the remaking of Letthe Right One In that was aScandinavian horror moviethat had the title Let Me In.

The entire team of the Batman is really enthusiastic about the movie and believes that it would be a big hit. Though, the topic is old but new storyline and advanced technology will refresh it.
