Mick Jagger's new romance is a 'fling'

Jun 9 2014, 3:20am CDT | by

Sir Mick Jagger's new romance is a "fling".

The 70-year-old music legend - whose longterm girlfriend L'Wren Scott committed suicide in March - was spotted cosying up to a younger woman in Zurich, Switzerland, last week, but a friend has defended him, insisting he needs to move on with his life.

The close pal said: "Of course Mick is still sad over L'Wren but he is working through it and trying to move on with his life. Yes, he had a fling - he's a red-blooded man for goodness sake. But it's nice to see him enjoying life again. He's on the mend."

Meanwhile, Mick recently returned to the stage with the Rolling Stones but the group omitted their 1966 song 'Paint It Black' - about the death of a lover - from the set list for their first three gigs because it's still highly emotional for the musician.

The haunting track sees the rocker describe a funeral, singing: "I see a line of cars and they're all painted black, with flowers and my love both never to come back."

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The lyrics are very personal to Mick and he didn't feel comfortable singing them so soon after L'Wren's death."

Following the publication of pictures of the 'Brown Sugar' star and the mystery brunette, L'Wren's sister Jan Shane blasted the rocker.

She said: "And people wonder why L'Wren was so depressed?

"These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is thinking and feeling. His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister.

"And then you see these photos. He will never change."

Kim & Kanye are on vacation in Mexico again: is Yeezus working with Mick Jagger?

Aug 19 2014 9:00am CDT | Source: Celebitchy.com

You know how I always say that Kim Kardashian and Duchess Kate are so much alike? Well, they have something else in common: they won’t stop taking vacations. Even when they’ve literally been on vacation the week before, they’ll take another vacation. Vacations on top of vacations. Endless vacations. With little to no “work.” So, yes, Kim Kardashian is on vacation again. The only reason I’m not mad about it is because taxpayers aren’t fu ...

Tori Amos Is In Denial

Aug 18 2014 8:07am CDT | Source: WWTDD.com

Tori Amos had a rough time coming to grips with turning fifty, and in the process tricked herself into believing a bunch of her own bullshit. Amos said she was worried her performances would suffer as she got older and that she wouldn’t be able to ‘rock’ the people who listen to her on elevators and at Macaroni Grills. Amos came to the realization that musicians should keep playing well into their later years, and that you should not die a little every time you see ...

The Doors’ legendary frontman Jim Morrison died in a Paris bathtub in 1971 of an alleged heroin overdose. Jerry Hall, 58: ‘I smoke, I drink, I like wine, I love sun tanning, I drink coffee’

Aug 7 2014 6:15am CDT | Source: Celebitchy.com

I’ve always sort of liked Jerry Hall. She stayed with Mick Jagger the longest, she had most of his kids, and she seems like a good mom and a pretty cool person. Plus, she was a great model. Jerry still lives in London (I think she got the mansion in her divorce from Mick) and most of her friends and family are in London too. Jerry gave a new interview to Good Housekeeping (via The Daily Mail) about her life these days, her thoughts on Bot ...
