Adam Levine is obsessed with Candy Crush Saga

Dec 6 2013, 9:36am CST | by Bang Showbiz

Adam Levine used his fiancee's finger to play Candy Crush Saga while she slept.

The Maroon 5 hunk took extreme measures to advance on the popular mobile game after becoming hooked on the app and then losing his phone.

The 34-year-old star, who is engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behatti Prinsloo, says he used his fiancee's fingerprint to access her iPhone in order to improve his score while she was asleep.

He confessed in an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Thursday (12.05.13): "This is so sad, but you know how they have the thumbprint IDs on the iPhones? I needed to buy more lives! Which cost 99 cents by the way ... what a racket, right? The habit's free and then they mess with you. And she was asleep, so I kind of gingerly [lifted her arm and used her finger]. She kind of half woke up and said, 'What are you doing?' and I said, 'I'm playing Candy Crush.' "

In the interview, the 'She Will Be Loved' singer also spoke about being named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.

Although he assured fans he takes his new role "seriously" he admitted that winning the coveted title has received mixed reactions from his family and fiancee.

He said: "I take it very seriously. It's funny ... it's kind of funny, right? It's amazing. You don't ever think that's actually going to happen and then it does and then it's really trippy.

"My fiancee burst into laughter, keeping me humble as usual. My mother asked me very sweetly if that makes her the sexiest mom alive, which is really cute and also kind of weird, and I said, 'I guess so.' And my father just said, 'You're welcome, son.' "
