Liam Gallagher to buy London pub?

Sep 24 2013, 3:30am CDT | by Bang Showbiz

Liam Gallagher wants to buy a London pub.

The Beady Eye frontman has recently moved into a multi-million pound mansion with his former assistant Debbie Gwyther, just around the corner from his estranged wife Nicole Appleton's home, and he is now considering becoming the landlord of a drinking den in the same area of north London.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Liam has been asking about the status of a pub called The Rosslyn Arms, which is between his new house and the home he shared with Nicole.

"He's always drinking in the area and thinks it'll be a good investment."

Liam is known as a rock 'n' roll hellraiser and is a regular drinker in the pubs in that area of the UK capital.

In April, the former Oasis star had been enjoying a heavy boozing session with friends at The Old White Bear pub in Hampstead, north west London, when he tried to ride a dog - in an apparent attempt to recreate a scene from Seth MacFarlane's comedy movie 'Ted'.

Liam and Nicole's five-year marriage ended in July after it emerged he had fathered a lovechild with American Journalist Liza Ghorbani.

It was then revealed Liam - who has 12-year-old son Gene with Nicole and two other children from different relationships - had been having an affair with Debbie.

Removal men were spotted taking items from the £5 million house he shared with Nicole earlier this month, including a guitar, Sex Pistols and The Beatles posters, a table and many of his clothes after he started divorce proceedings, hiring Sir Paul McCartney's former divorce lawyer, Fiona Shackleton.

Showcasing a clear desire to tinker with the formula...Following 2010’s frenetic ‘Transference’, Texan purveyors of soul-flecked indie Spoon return with a slightly heavier, slightly louder spin on their sound. The band’s dependable grasp of instantly joyous hooks still shows no sign of deserting them, and Britt Daniel’s raspy voice continues to marshal the tight groove at their core. However, there is ...
