Jack Nicholson can't hit on women

Sep 10 2013, 3:05am CDT | by Bang Showbiz

Jack Nicholson can't hit on women in public anymore.

The 76-year-old actor was branded a "sex legend" after bedding countless females during his heyday but, despite still feeling young at heart, he admits the opposite sex are no longer interested in him because of his ageing looks.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "I'm still wild at heart but I've hit bio-gravity. I can't hit on women in public any more. I didn't decide this, it just doesn't feel right at my age."

Jack - who has had high-profile relationships with actress Anjelica Huston, who he was with for 17 years, singer Michelle Phillips and model Janice Dickinson - insists his career choice in the acting industry was largely ruled by trying to impress women and his confidence peaked when they found him "irresistible".

He explained: "If men are honest, everything they do and everywhere they went was for a chance to see women. A lot of me being an actor was about that, and about me.

"There were points in my life when I felt oddly irresistible to women. I'm not in that state now, which makes me sad."

However, the iconic Hollywood star believes there are some positives to ageing because he's notice a change in his characteristics.

He said: "But I so believe that a lot of the improvements in my character have come through ageing and the diminishing of powers. Some of it isn't so great, like the hair that comes and the hair that goes."

Celebitchy Book Club: ‘Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty’ by Diane Keaton

Jul 20 2014 7:50am CDT | Source: Celebitchy.com

Bedhead’s take: I very much enjoyed Diane Keaton’s first book, Then Again (2011). The whole memoir was a love letter of sorts to her late mother. Diane covered many topics about her life in her typically zany way, but the book was infused with a framework. The various chapters were interspersed with entries from her mother’s scrapbook journal. These bits and pieces of italicized text acted as the glue between book sections, and it als ...

5 (4) Horror Movies That Should Never Be Remade

Jun 10 2014 11:17pm CDT | Source: Oh No They Didn't!

The ShiningLet's start with the obvious one. Now, before you speed down to the comments section to remind me, yes, I know Stephen King's book, The Shining, was remade as a TV mini-series in 1997. However, this series drew no inspiration from Stanley Kubrick's cinematic classic. I also know the 1980 Shining movie bears only a slight resemblance to King's book, something which disappoints some fans. However, despite this, you have to accept ...
