Zayn Malik has no regrets about his 'crazy' Perrie Edwards tattoo

One Direction star Zayn Malik has no regrets about getting a tattoo of his girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

The boy band hunk admits he's probably "a little bit crazy" to have the cartoon portrait of the Little Mix singer permanently inked onto his arm but he wanted to show her how much he cares for her.

The 19-year-old star - who has been dating the 'How Ya Doin'?' singer since they met on 'The X Factor' UK in 2011 - insists Perrie "loves" the tattoo despite her initial shock.

When asked if he may live to regret his personal body art, Zayn told The Sun newspaper: "Of course not. It's not a direct portrait but it's all the things that I like about her. She was shocked at first but loves it now. She thinks I'm crazy ... like everyone else does. To be fair, I am a little bit crazy ... I'm happy to be labeled the crazy one of the group."

Meanwhile, Zayn has admitted he enjoyed dressing as a girl for 1D's latest video 'Best Song Ever', and it has given him the confidence to try acting in the future.

He said: "The video was good. it gave me a chance to come out of my shell a bit. I did a lot of acting when I was at school and really enjoyed it. I don't know if I'd pursue it as a career, but if something landed in my lap I wouldn't say no."

Zayn and his bandmates - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - will be attending the premiere of their 3D concert movie 'One Direction: This Is Us' in London's Leicester Square tonight (20.08.13).
