Matthew McConaughey hosts birthday bash

Jul 7 2013, 2:52pm CDT | by

Matthew McConaughey hosted a star-studded garden party on Saturday (07.06.13) ahead of his eldest son Levi's fifth birthday on Sunday (07.07.13).

The 'Killer Joe' star, who has two other young children, Vida, three, and Livingston, seven months, with his Brazilian model wife Camila Alves, was joined by a string of guests including his good friend Sandra Bullock and NBA player Kevin Garnett at the bash at his home in Malibu, California.

'The Heat' actress, 48, brought along her three-year-old adopted son Louis to Levi's party, while the Boston Celtics star was accompanied by his wife Brandi Padilla and their two young daughters, according to UsMagazine.com.

The Oscar-winning actress and Matthew have been good friends since starring in 'A Time to Kill' together in 1995 and were previously rumored to have dated.

Their children are reportedly good friends as both families have homes in Austin, Texas.

Matthew previously revealed his family life is like a "circus".

The 43-year-old star recently said: "It's wonderful time and I've got a wonderful woman. It's like a circus at home - and she's the ringleader of that circus.

"Levi, he's gonna be an astronaut or something, he loves building airports all night long in the living room.

"I get home from work around six and in that time, Levi's in the living room building airports, hanging things from the ceiling.

"Vida has gone to her room and in that time it's a fashion show - headbands and angel wings, different shoes ... Livingston's not doing that yet, he's not moving around much!"

Jul 25 2014 6:10am CDT | Source: Celebitchy.com

Paramount Studios Presentation - Comic-Con International 2014
I might have to turn in my Dork Card because I keep forgetting that Guardians of the Galaxy is a Marvel property. My bad. So it’s no surprise when an Avenger turned up at the UK premiere of Guardians last night. Okay, it’s a little bit surprising considering the Avenger was Chris Hemsworth, who I dubbed “The Largely Absent Hemsworth” last year because he was largely MIA during the promotion of Thor ...

Jul 20 2014 6:45am CDT | Source: I'm Not Obsessed

Paramount Studios Presentation - Comic-Con International 2014
The Television Critics Awards (TCA) don’t get as much attention as other awards shows because they aren’t televised.
