One Direction versus Taylor Swift at Kids' Choice Awards

One Direction and Taylor Swift will go head-to-hear at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers - consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - will battle against Harry's former girlfriend for Favorite Song at this year's awards, while the band are also up for Favorite Musical Group.

Harry, 19, told People magazine: "We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year's show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!"

Other nominees in the Favorite Song category include Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe', and the viral sensation, 'Gangnam Style' by Korean star PSY.

One Direction will also face competition from Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5 to earn the title of Favorite Musical Group.

Elsewhere, 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actress Selena Gomez is nominated for Favorite TV Actress and 'America's Got Talent', 'American Idol', 'The Voice' and 'Wipeout' will vie for Favorite Reality Show.
