The 37-year-old soccer star confirmed last month he is to join Paris Saint-Germain for five-months and the club are planning to put him up in the lavish 3,225sq ft Royale Suite at Le Bristol Hotel for the duration of his stint in the French city, and insiders says the residence, which is situated on the fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, will also be a hit with his wife Victoria and their four children.
A source said: "It costs around $21,000 a night, however PSG will foot the bill.
"The local area is perfect, there are lots of lovely shops nearby, such as Hermes and Colette, plus boat rides along the Seine for the children.
"For dining out, La Maison Du Caviar is uber-cool and loved by Karl Lagerfeld."
David - who is donating all his salary from the club to charity - is also said to be planning on taking French lessons to help with the move.
The source added to Grazia magazine: "David's French is awful, so he's signed up to weekly classes."
