Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 1 (IANS) A documentary chronicling the life of Malayalam filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan is being shot in his native town Adoor.

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 1 — A documentary chronicling the life of Malayalam filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan is being shot in his native town Adoor.

The documentary is being directed by Vipin Vijayan, one of the filmmaker's students, for the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.

It will include Gopalkrishnan's ancestral home and his experiences in Kottra L.P. School and Adoor Boys' High School, where the veteran filmmaker completed his education.

Subhiksha to star in Malayalam movie

Tamil actress Subhiksha has been roped in to star opposite Malayalam actor Fahad in a new film "Olipporu".

The project is to be directed by A.V. Siddharthan.

Its story revolves around a group of bloggers, who work online under the pseudonym Olipporali. In the film, Subhiksha plays the role of a software engineer called Veni.
